Repsol Perform - Fuel-resistant Bitumens

The Repsol PERFORM B35/50 AC fuel-resistant bitumen is a binder designed especially for the production of bituminous mixtures that are applied in areas where fuel and lubricant spills are frequent.

Properties and applications

They are generally used in fuel loading/unloading areas in industrial zones, airports, service stations, and vehicle parking areas.

Fuel-resistant bitumens provide resistance to dissolution of the asphalt bitumen in the event of a hydrocarbon spill, minimising the loss of cohesion between the aggregate and the binder in the bituminous mixture. This deterioration would be made worse by the passage of vehicles.
